Undaunted, editor Richard Starkings, whose Comicraft studio was acquired by Active Images for a reported two milllion dollars in 1997, called in even bigger guns to work on the Flask franchise. Many comic fans forget that Jim Lee's DIVINE RIGHT was a spinoff of his HIP FLASK REBORN series and helped increase the value of Jim's Wildstorm studio before its sale to DC Comics in late 1997.
